Game Discussion. Guild Wars 2 Discussion. Permanent idle animation. I played EQ2 and FF14 a while back where they had the option to do change our idle animation permanently, or rotate between a select few. I felt that it gave my character more personality when she leaned back and crossed her arms like a boss, or rested her hands on her hips.
It could be anything from different sitting poses to eat/drink, pass out, blow a kiss, pick your nose, you name it. And if you want to make more money you could release more emote packs. To make it lazyfriendly to use, it would be cool to implement a emote-skill bar where you can access all your unlocked emotes.
I'd love it if there were /hug @, and /bearhug @ emotes. I'd go round as my Charr bear-hugging other players. They could make it so When you do the emote the other player has to accept the request to hug, or make it so that just pressing any movement key stops the hug and you have to be standing right next to them to initiate it, so people can't use it to teleport you off of ledges/grief.

Response. For each requested emote id, an object with the following properties is returned: id (string) - The id of the emote. commands (array of strings) - List of ids of available commands for the emote. unlock_items (array of integers) - List of ids of the items resolvable against v2/items.
The only way this would work is if they change everyone's skills into emotes, like how Mad King Says in the Ascent to Madness does it. Otherwise, everyone would gain progression, whether they do the emote or not. (Alternatively, anyone without the expansions could just stand there, while those with expansions are punished for having them.)
World vs. World. Twenty three percent more boonball emotes. As the title states, I’d like Anet to create a set of group emotes for those in a raid. When a tag emotes, then his entire ball is forced to immediately imitate the same emote. For science.
Confirmed that using comfort on a player with the Misery debuff will remove it. A very cool feature and I wish there were other subtle implementations like this, like perhaps having to do an emote for a boss fight. /dote or /kiss, /blowkiss should be able to remove toad.
Please. It's been since launch. Fix that damn bug, or if it's not a bug just remove it, or at least add the option to do soAnd before people hit me with "this would enter in conflict with the character/environment", this is invalid for 2 reasons:First, aside from /sleep (and even then the back
